Nighteyes by JessMcNoodle Nighteyes by JessMcNoodle
An unfinished painting in acryllic
this is Nighteyes a wolf from Robin Hobb's 'The Farseer Trilogy' and 'The Tawny Man' series' he is bonded to Fitz and has an amazing personality of his own; he is loyal, funny, intelligent, sarcastic, heart-melting and a true friend (can you guess he's my fav character)
awww i tried for aaaaaages to paint him and this was my last attempt, i didnt finish it because there's no way id finish something that wasnt good enough to attribute to RH's books and at this point i think i did capture something , and was afraid that i'd ruin it by continuing further,,,
.. plus i like how only the bright, un grey-wolf-like colours have been added, *shrug* its different.
anyway any Robin Hobb fans out there? please tell me what you think..... :D

i know! only books that have made me do that... i've read them 5 times and wish i could read them again! every time i lend them to people i kind of get jealous of their excitement/horror/tears etc. :P

thanks for the comment, the more i look back at this the more i think, yes, i actually managed to stop at a point where i captured what i wanted. wouls love to do fitz but dont have as clear an image of what i would do. tell me if you do any fan art i would love to see x

when i first read them i didnt understand the at all, but then again i was loads younger when i did aha, and well i dont lend them people, theyre tooooo precious for that man.

well ive been reading an author called sonya hartnett for a while , shes good but a lot more simpler. like for teen fiction but it is good for adults as well i think, and well i jus thought that it was how nighteyes should look like and was a perfect representation of an already perfect character

so well done :)

So I was re-reading the books the other day and on a whim I decided to search for nighteyes fan art and here I found this wonderful painting. <3 It looks so wonderful unfinished. I certainly thing you caught something here, in his eyes and in the colors. Amazing work.

I hear ya! Nighteyes seems the easiest to draw in many ways. :D Though Verity-as-a-Dragon would be awesome too. :D
